COROPOXY™ Hi-Build Multi-Purpose Epoxy is a multi-purpose polyamide, designed as a high build primer or intermediate, or as a low sheen finish coat. It may be top-coated with a wide range of finishes including epoxy, polyurethane, MCU or acrylic. This product has been formulated with anti-corrosive pigments, to protect against rust creep around damaged areas. This product is suitable for immersion service in fresh or salt water, and is an excellent choice as a ballast tank lining. It is VOC compliant, even in the most stringent areas. It is compatible over many primer types, including IOZ, epoxy, acrylic, and MCU, and direct to substrate with a wide variety of surface preparation procedures. The cured film exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in a wide variety of severe environments. Intended for use on properly prepared substrates such as industrial steel, piping, machinery, offshore structures, piers, platforms, tank lining for salt and fresh (non-potable) water, tank exteriors. Use in food and beverage processing, chemical processing, waste water treatment, petrochemical processing, pulp and paper processing, and general metal finishing for atmospheric and chemical environments.
